Hotpoint Indesit modules![]() |
Not much can be done with these ,when a new module is purchased it is blank, the options are to get the manufacturer to do the repair for a fixed price ( about £110 as of March 2015 depending on age ).Or do it yourself and purchase a module at cost of about £100 ,and a smart card reader £100 and a program card for your model of machine about £20 total cost about £220 ( if the manufacturer does it they will fit any parts needed with a guarantee).I`ll let you decide . I ALWAYS UNPLUG FROM MAINS. |
Here is the module in place. |

On the right is the module and on the left is the module access cover ,it pulls out. |
Remove the screws and loosen the wiring, from the clips ,and the module can be moved to the outside of the machine,if a new module is to be fitted then remove the wires one by one and put on and pull off the new board a couple of times to make sure a good connection is established. Then it will have to be programmed unless a good second hand board ,(it must be off the same machine), is to be fitted. |
